COURSEWORK DESCRIPTION

Write and deliver a presentation about the Domain Name System (DNS) that address the questions below:

How would you describe the size of the Domain Name System?
Which 3 components are the most important for DNS operations and how are they related to each other?
How would you describe the function of the Domain Name System?
Is the operation of the Domain Name System affected by any legislation in the UK?
What is the most significant limitation to the continued operation of the Domain Name System?

The presentation must:

use at least 3 external reference sources
have a title page and a references page
be written using Microsoft PowerPoint, Open Office Presentation or Adobe Acrobat

There is no requirement on the number of pages in the presentation.

The delivery of the presentation must be recorded as a video. The video must:

be 3 to 6 minutes in duration
show the student standing to deliver the presentation
be uploaded to an external website, such as YouTube, Vimeo or similar services

The presentation should inform the audience in a way that is easy to understand and reflects your own personal style. You may use supporting images, charts, diagrams and other visual elements from outside sources.

All external reference sources must be properly cited using the Harvard APA referencing and citation format. This coursework contributes 40% to the B101 unit mark.

COURSEWORK SUBMISSION

Coursework must be submitted online using the Mosaic website. The Mosaic coursework submission page for each student must contain:

The upload of the presentation document (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint, Open Office Presentation or Adobe Acrobat file)
The link to the external website hosting the presentation video
