Learning outcomes

  1. Critically analyse authentication methods to identify the key principles and future directions.
  2. Critically analyse and evaluate the social impact and commercial potential of identity and privacy issues involved with authentication.
  3. Write effectively to communicate observations, technical solutions, social issues and commercial ideas.



Assessments


Critical analysis and communication skills are assessed through coursework and an end of unit examination.
  1. The coursework was a research report and contributed 20% to the unit mark.
  2. 90 minutes open notes end of unit examination that contributed 80% to the unit mark.

Students are required to use individual pages on Mosaic to write and submit their coursework.
