Management and the Technology Professional – B302

The peer review process (see form at bottom of this page) for case study scenario 2 is open from March 11 to March 17, 2010.



Learning outcomes

  1. Awareness of ethical, commercial and management issues in technology related professions.
  2. Ability to evaluate multiple, and possibly conflicting, requirements such employment contracts, national legislation, professional codes of conduct and personal ethics.
  3. Use and articulate a decision making process.



Assessments

Reflection and application of the unit learning outcomes will be assessed through coursework assignments and a final examination, both using case study question format.
  1. The coursework contributed 40% to the unit mark. Written responses to to the case studies were submitted using the Mosaic website.
  2. A 90 minutes end of unit examination contributes 60% to the unit mark.
